World Athletics Championships Marathon 2024 Dates. The 2024 world masters athletics championships in gothenburg, sweden, are open only to men and women who were born on or before 13 august 1989 and who are physically fit. For the 10,000m, combined events, race walks and relays, the qualification period runs from 31 december 2022 to 30 june 2024. The 2025 abbottwmm mtt age group world championships will take place within the tcs new york city marathon on november 2, 2025.
